REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

 

Returns

Artraditions guarantees customer satisfaction. In case customer is not happy with the quality, returns will be accepted when Artraditions is informed of the intent to return within 5 days of delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: Returns apply only to paintings. Custom artwork request by the customer for a special order are not eligible for returns. If the customer has request to get an unframed original artworks then it can be subjected to return if it is not violating any other return policy.

 

Return Process

  1. Within 5 days of delivery, customer should inform Artraditions of intent to return.

  2. An email can be sent with intent of return to admin@artraditions.com. Please quote order number in the email subject along with the heading "Intent for Return". It may take longer without quoting the order number.

  3. Customer should retain the artwork in exact same condition as it was received.

  4. Artraditions will acknowledge the return request and customer will ship the artwork to our return shipping` address.

  5. Please note that, the responsibility of proper packing and making sure that products reach Artraditions in perfectly good, new condition lies with the customer.

  6. Up on receipt of returned artwork by Artraditions, it will be assessed for further damages. The artwork will not be eligible for refund in case of damages, breakage, scratches are found by Artraditions. As the proof, Artraditions can share with customer photos/video of opening the product packing.

  7. Artraditions will reimburse the shipping amount once the above conditions are evaluated by our experts and the return is accepted. Customer is required to submit the receipt of the shipping. The image should clearly show the shipping carrier and the amount charged for the shipping.

  8. Artraditions will approve the refund when the artwork is found to be in exact same condition as it was delivered to customer.

  9. Along with the approval Artraditions will process the refund in the same online payment mode that was used while making the payment for the order OR Artraditions will ask customer for bank details for making the refund money transfer (in case the payment to its original payment mode is unsuccessful). Please note Artraditions can't make refund in any other mode.

  10. The process may take from 2-3 weeks for completion.

  11. WE CAN TAKE THE RETURN REQUEST ONLY ONCE PER ORDER.

 

REPLACEMENT

In an unlikely event of damages during delivery, artwork having quality issue or wrong artwork delivered, it is eligible for free replacement.

 

Replacement Process

  1. Customer should inform Artraditions of damaged delivery, quality issue or wrong artwork delivered within 48 hours from the time of delivery.

  2. Customer to send photos as proof showing the issue with artwork.

  3. An email can be sent with details and photos to admin@artraditions.com with the order number in the subject line. It will take longer without quoting the order number in the email.

  4. Artraditions shall not be liable to replace the artwork or refund the money if Artraditions is informed after completion of 48 hours from time of delivery.

  5. Artraditions will arrange to pick up the artwork from customer delivery address.

  6. In case Artraditions can't arrange courier pick up from the shipping address, Artraditions will inform the customer and customer will have to ship the artwork to our registered address. Artraditions will refund the shipping amount incurred by the customer.

  7. Customer to retain the artwork in exact same condition as it was received, along with the original packaging

  8. Please note that, irrespective of whether Artraditions arranges for pick up or customer ships it, the responsibility of proper packing and making sure that products reach Artraditions in perfect good, new condition lies with the customer

  9. Up on receipt of returned artwork by Artraditions, it will be assessed for further damages. The artwork will not be eligible for replacement in case of further damages are found by Artraditions. As the proof, Artraditions can share with customer photos/video of the products.

  10. Artraditions will approve the replacement when the artwork is found to be in exact same condition as it was delivered to customer.

  11. Artraditions will ship the replacement artwork in 3 days of approval for replacement.

  12. In case customer seeks refund instead of replacement, Artraditions will ask for bank details for making the refund or process refund in the same payment mode that was used while making the payment for the order. Please note Artraditions can't make refund in anyother mode at the moment.

  13. The process may take from 2-3 weeks for completion.

  14. WE CAN TAKE THE REPLACEMENT REQUEST ONLY ONCE PER ORDER.

ORDER CANCELLATION

Orders can be cancelled under certain circumstances only. I would like to take this opportunity to explain the positioning of these clauses. We have a duty towards our customers but we also have a responsibility towards the well being of our artists. Our paintings, unlike other websites, are 100% handmade from natural materials found in the nature. The artist takes time to learn the design and then the whole process of creating the painting with the framing takes roughly 20-25 days. I hope you understand our reasoning to add the clauses when an order is cancelled.

 

Order can be cancelled without any charges under following conditions

  1. The artist has not begun the painting for that particular oder number.

  2. There has been a double charge on the card and a duplicate order has been placed

  3. If there has been a delay in the starting of the painting process on the part of Artraditions and the duration of that delay has exceeded 45 days.

 

Order Cancellation not satisfying above criteria

Orders not satisfying above criteria will be subject to different cancellation fees depending on the stage of the painting.

  1. 20% cancellation fee: If the customer cancels an order while the artist is in the process of painting for that particular then a 20% fee will be charged for cancellation.

  2. 50% cancellation fee: If the customer cancels an order when the painting and framing has been completed and the order is ready to ship, then a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.

I want to reiterate that the cancellation fee is to compensate our artists and frame manufacturers for their effort. It takes lot of work in producing one painting and we are trying to revive this industry in a modern way. Unlike other print on demand painting stores, we provide 100% organic handmade artwork.
